GDPR and your customers' data
Who is the data controller, what we store and how to delete a customer's data.
- You are the controller of your customers' data, and CallsYou processes it on your behalf. The data processing agreement is part of our terms of service.
- A call starts only at the customer's request, and the widget requires consent to be contacted.
- We don't use your customers' numbers for marketing or share them with anyone.
What we store
The phone number, the course of calls and chats, and visit information: city based on IP address, device, language and pages visited. This is used for customer service in your dashboard.
Deleting a customer's data
In the contact profile, click “Delete contact and all their calls”.
Copy of data
Need a copy of your data? Write to us in Help & support. You can also retrieve data through the API.
If you record calls, inform your customers about it in your website's privacy policy.
