Chat sounds and notifications
The dashboard chime, system notifications and the counter in the tab title.
- Chime - when a visitor is waiting for a reply, the dashboard chimes every few seconds until someone opens the conversation or replies. It's heard by the people who handle the chat.
- System notification - “New chat message”, even when the dashboard tab is in the background.
- Counter - next to the Chat tab in the menu and in the browser tab title.
If your browser blocks sound, an “Enable chat sound” button appears at the bottom of the menu - click it once.
